The only one I’ve read is Dr. Zhivago … maybe five years ago. I just remember feeling very sad and disappointed in Zhivago/for Zhivago, the man … not the book itself.
I LOVE Brideshead Revisited. If you want to see a dramatised version, I suggest the BBC adaptation, NOT the more recent movie, as the movie distorts the story so much. But it's a great book. 💖📚
Yah, disappointingly, the movie has some of my favorite actors, but they jacked up the story, and I don't play that. The tv series also has good actors. 👍🏽

I’m excited now! I didn’t know there was a film adaptation.

This is quite the nice hall for $17! It's always an adventure exploring bookstores and especially fun finding used books for a deal.
I've not read any of these five, but know of the first two and am curious about about the Marilynne Robinson book.
Used bookstores are the my very favorite place to be!
