March 2025 New Christian Book Releases | What's On My Radar
Recent books that have caught my eye
There are way too many books out there in the world, and more are being released every month. I know I will never get to read every single book I want to, but that doesn’t stop me from browsing the new releases to see what looks interesting.
Here are 10 books released in March 2025 by Christian authors that caught my eye.
A Million Tiny Moments: Reflections to Refresh a Mom’s Spirit by Emily A. Jensen and Laura Wifler
I am aware that the Risen Motherhood podcast is very popular, and I have also read some of Laura Wifler’s poetry on Instagram. While I think their kids are younger than mine and this book may not be as relevant for me in my current parenting season, I’m thinking this could be a good gift for new moms or moms of younger kids.
Make Sense of Your Story: Why Engaging Your Past with Kindness Changes Everything by Adam Young
Ths title of this book made me pause a little because I’ve experienced a lot of really unhelpful conversations that talk about “your story.” But I’ve listened to Adam Young’s podcast The Place We Find Ourselves and really respect him, so I’ll allow him to use this very overused phrase. Personally, going back and re-rexamining hard parts of my life with compassion toward my former self has been helpful, so I’d love to read this book and see what he has to say.
The Marriage You Want: Moving beyond Stereotypes for a Relationship Built on Scripture, New Data, and Emotional Health by Sheila Wray Gregoire and Dr. Keith Gregoire
I’ve read two of
’s previous books and found them extremely helpful. I plan to purchase this book soon and will be excited to give a review! They are full of evidence-based research as well as Scriptural truth.Wiser With Jesus: Overcoming the Temptations that Hinder Your Relationships, Steal Your Time, Mar Your Decision–Making and Thwart Your Purpose by Zack Eswine
Other than my own husband, Zack Eswine is one of my favorite modern-day pastors. I have had the privilege of hearing him in person as well as reading many of his books, and he writes with such compassion and wisdom. This book looks at the book of Proverbs. (That said, the subtitle of this book is super long!)
The Unbiased Self: The Psychology of Overcoming Cognitive Bias by Erin Devers
At first I wasn’t sure this was a Christian book, but it does seem to be coming from a Christian perspective. Given the amount of cognitive bias I see on a daily basis, this is not just on my radar but on my “to be read” list!
When Work Hurts: Building Resilience When You're Beat Up or Burnt Out by Meryl Herr
I don’t know that this book would be relevant to me, but as someone who walks with women in all kinds of work circumstances, I think it could help me be a better friend and encourager.
You Are Redeemed: Devotions for Living a Whole New Life by Nana Dolce
I’ve worked through one of the other books in this series (by a different author) and the books themselves are beautiful and so pleasurable to use. This is a 40-day study through the book of Exodus and would be a great gift for anyone in a season where they need structure in their time with the Lord.
Pour Out Your Heart: Discovering Joy, Strength, and Intimacy with God through Prayer by Jeremy Linneman
Prayer is something everyone I know struggles with. Reading a book alone can’t fix it, but I am always up for reading a new book on prayer.
Disrupted Journey: Walking With Your Loved One Through Chronic Pain and Illness by Nate Brooks
The subtitle of this book caught my eye immediately since I have people in my own family as well as other circles who have chronic illness. I hope to read this one soon.
Good News at Rock Bottom: Finding God When the Pain Goes Deep and Hope Seems Lost by Ray Ortlund
Ray Ortlund is another pastor who I greatly respect. We got to have him and his wife do a marriage retreat at our church last year, and getting to spend time with them informally was such a blessing. He and his wife, Jani, are the real deal. Given his age and experience, I am sure this book is full of wisdom.
Do any of these books look interesting to you? Let me know in the comments!
