I enjoyed your list. So hard to pick a favorite, but I think I would choose Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher. I am a huge fan of her books. I was very sad when she wrote her last book Winter Solstice - also one of my very favorites and a great Christmas read.
What a great variety here, Chelsey! I bet coming up with this list was fun, too. I've loved several on your list and can totally relate to your 'not your typical beach read' comment - I can often be found sitting outside in the summer, highlighter in hand, completely engrossed in an in-depth nonfiction read! :-) Thanks for sharing your list!
Great list, Chelsey! I loved "Bird Box," "Room," and "The Stand." "Room " is such a haunting book.
I've also been really wanting to read "Project Hail Mary," so this list was a good push! Thanks for writing this. :-)
Project Hail Mary is my favorite Andy Weir book! I hope you enjoy it.
Project Hail Mary is fantastic on audio
Somewhat surprisingly I didn’t listen to the audiobook - I might have to reread this one. I can only imagine what it would be like!

I’ve heard of her, but I’ve never read any of her books. Adding it to my list!

It was really fun! Now to do it for nonfiction 😎
I’ve only read a few on this list and have a number of them on my TBR and I’m excited to add some more!
I think The Passage, Project Hail Mary, and Homegoing would all be on my list, too.
